In 1999, The "Piano Company" ( Bob Gibbs [deceased], Mike Cogley & Doug Krieger) began performing with bassists Charles Stephens & Jim Stiel, "Easy Listening Jazz" at the Quay Street Brewing Co. located at 330 Quay Street, Port Huron on Friday & Saturday evenings, from 6:00 to 9:00pm.

Doug Krieger provided a musical Valentine's Day treat at the St. Clair County Community College Fine Arts Auditorium. Appearing with Doug was singer Peggy Turner Carr, bassist Charlie Stephens and drummer Rod Welchko.
