THE PIANO PLAYERS In 1999, The "Piano Company" ( Bob Gibbs [deceased], Mike Cogley & Doug Krieger) began performing with bassists Charles Stephens & Jim Stiel, "Easy Listening Jazz" at the Quay Street Brewing Co. located at 330 Quay Street, Port Huron on Friday & Saturday evenings, from 6:00 to 9:00pm. AT THE GIG Mike and friend Charlie Stephens, a Piano Company regular, love to play the music of the late pianist Bill Evans A CHANGE OF PACE A Piano Company regular, bassist Jim Stiel has worked with Bob Gibbs & Mike since the 1970's. A VISITOR FROM LONDON When I'm in a pinch Ron Fleming is one of the many bass players who has filled in. AN EXCITING YOUNG BASSIST! Bassist Andy Lloyd, a Piano Company regular and a graduate from the Music Program at Wayne State University, adds exciting energy. DOUG KRIEGER & FRIENDS Doug Krieger provided a musical Valentine's Day treat at the St. Clair County Community College Fine Arts Auditorium. Appearing with Doug was singer Peggy Turner Carr, bassist Charlie Stephens and drummer Rod Welchko.
